No Space Like Home
In January 2020, this was my first time participating in a Global Game Jam event as well as my first time working on game with a large team. I took on the role as writer to set up the main stoy while writing character dialogue. I also had my first experience managing a game project with six other developers, which led to me gaining an understanding on how the roles of programmer, artist, musician, and writer are vital to have a healthy balance when being consistent on completing a game. Together we completed our game titled No Space Like Home which centers on the player controlling a small alien stranded on earth needing to repair their ship. The player needs to then talk to the townspeople nearby to collect pieces needed to repair his ship.
